This free one-day devotional sample introduces families to the beauty of Arizona through the Grand Canyon, desert wildlife, map skills, and a biblical reflection rooted in Psalm 95:4.

Children will learn about the Grand Canyon, discover two unique Arizona animals—the ringtail and cactus wren—and reflect on how creation points us back to the greatness, power, and creativity of God.

Map It!

Instead of a traditional “Get Outside” prompt (familiar with families who've completed God's Perfect Design), this series includes a geography-based Map It activity. Children will grab their State Passport, find Arizona on the map, label it, and color the desert and Grand Canyon regions.

This hands-on activity helps children connect what they are learning to real places across the United States.
