Discover God’s Perfect Design This Fall

A sunflower turning toward the light. A spider’s web sparkling with morning dew. A snowshoe hare growing its winter coat.

Fall is filled with discoveries that invite children to pause, ask questions, and marvel at God’s creation.

God’s Perfect Design: Fall Edition from Morning Flora Devotionals brings those discoveries into your family’s time in God’s Word. Through seven devotionals combining Bible and science, children explore the natural world while reflecting on what it means to listen, trust, grow, and follow Jesus.

Seven Discoveries, Meaningful Conversations

Each devotional connects a fascinating part of creation with a biblical lesson:

• Wild turkeys and communication: Discover how turkeys use different calls, then reflect on listening carefully to God’s Word and wise guidance.

• Sunflowers and light: Learn how young sunflowers track the sun and consider what it means to follow Jesus, the Light of the World.

• Apples and growth: Explore the apple tree’s life cycle while learning about staying connected to Jesus.

• Spiders and silk: Investigate the remarkable uses of spider silk and notice God’s wisdom in even the smallest details.

• Bats and echolocation: Discover how many bats navigate using sound, opening a conversation about trusting God’s guidance when we cannot see the way ahead.

• Caribou and antlers: Learn about growing and shedding antlers while reflecting on letting go of worry, anger, and things we cannot control.

• Snowshoe hares and camouflage: Explore seasonal coat changes and remember that God is with us as we face new or difficult things.

A Flexible Rhythm for Your Family

Read together around the kitchen table, bring the devotional along for a nature walk, or enjoy it as part of your homeschool day.

Each lesson includes Scripture, a devotional reading, and a closing prayer. The PDF can be printed or read on a device, and linked audio devotionals allow your family to listen to Gina B narrate.

Begin by reading the Bible verse together. Take time to notice, wonder, and talk. Then invite a child to read the closing prayer. You can work through the seven devotionals at your own pace throughout the season.

Take Your Learning Further

For families choosing the Kingdom Learners Bundle, extended videos and accompanying activities offer more ways to explore. Coloring, Scripture copywork, outdoor activities, field books, and learning badges help children participate according to their abilities—from your youngest Seedlings to growing Sprouts and independent Flourishers.

Our prayer is that these moments become more than lessons completed. May they become opportunities to know God more deeply, delight in His creation, and turn everyday discoveries into conversations about faith.
